The Atchafalaya At Idlewild Awarded Top Spot Again This Year
Golfweek Magazine has selected the Atchafalaya at Idlewild as #1 on their "2009 Best Courses You Can Play" list for Louisiana. This represents back-to- back recognition as the #1 course. News of the accomplishment appeared in the March 14th issue.
"We're very excited about the recognition especially from Golfweek Magazine", commented Rudy Sparks, Chairman of the Atchafalaya Golf Commission. "To be #1 two years in a row says a lot about the facility. We anticipate a busy 2009!"
